mole

Moles are a very common creature and have a destructive nature about them. They are particularly active during autumn, winter and early spring where they can plough their way a lawn or seeded field in Hastings, Heathfield or any location in the UK with incredible speed.

The runs that moles dig below the surface damage the ground and form holes. They are particularly dangerous on playing fields and paddocks as the stones and soil that moles throw up can ruin the ground. It can also damage expensive machinery that keeps the surfaces in shape.

Another issue that our pest control specialists come across, in the pursuit of moles in areas such as Hastings, Heathfield, Tenterden and Tunbridge Wells, is soil that is produced in mole hills which contains listeria and can contaminate silage. This can be transferred to animals feeding on silage, which can subsequently make sheep and cattle ill if they graze on the hills moles have created.

Our pest control for moles is also environmentally friendly. We don’t use gases or materials that have potential damage to your gardens or grounds in Hastings, Heathfield, Kent or Sussex. Also the pest control methods we use are safe around pets, children, livestock and wildlife.

We use the following methods:

  • Trapping With Either Live Catch or Break Back Traps
  • Gassing Using Phosphate

We are registered with British Mole Catchers and NPTA. Once moles have been eradicated, we can offer you seasonal pest control services to keep on top of any reoccurring problems.
